We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Manager, Compensation & Classification to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise compensation programs. This role will focus on ensuring compensation & classification practices support performance, attract and retain talent, and remain compliant with regulatory and pay equity requirements. Responsibilities This position is responsible for: Strategy & Program Management Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of company-wide compensation programs including annual merit increases, short-term incentive plans (STIP), long-term incentive plans (LTIP), and salary structures. Support and operationalize the organization’s pay-for-performance philosophy, ensuring clear linkage between performance outcomes and compensation decisions. Partner with senior leadership to ensure compensation programs align with business strategy and organizational priorities. Establish and govern clear compensation & classification processes and ensure consistent application across the organization. Support Mergers & Acquisitions from a compensation and classification perspective Market Benchmarking & Salary Structures Conduct compensation benchmarking and market analysis using salary surveys and external data sources to ensure market competitiveness. Lead regular salary band reviews and job architecture alignment to maintain internal equity and external competitiveness. Provide strategic guidance on job offers, promotions, and complex compensation decisions. Governance, Compliance & Pay Equity Ensure compensation programs comply with North American regulatory requirements, including pay equity legislation and transparency standards where applicable. Monitor and analyze compensation practices to ensure internal equity and fairness across the organization.
