Marcon is seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead our recruitment and selection efforts across both the Development and Construction divisions. In this key role, you will be responsible for sourcing and attracting top-tier talent while championing a seamless, inclusive, and values-based hiring process. You will act as a strategic partner to our hiring managers and a brand ambassador to candidates, ensuring an exceptional experience for everyone involved.

Responsibilities
  • Lead talent sourcing for key positions via established recruitment procedures and resources
  • Organizing and implementing recruitment and selection processes. including the creation of postings, shortlisting and screening applicants, coordinating and participating in the selection panels, reference checking and offer distribution
  • Supports the interview process including revising interview guides to be position specific and participating in interviews (virtual and on site) as required.
  • Develop a pipeline of talent and a network of potential candidates for future roles through various online and in person methods, including event attendance to build Marcon’s brand interest
  • Engaging in proactive recruitment strategies to generate pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future needs
  • Understand and communicate technical elements and requirements of various roles with hiring managers, candidates and other stakeholders, with a focus on creating great experiences
  • Developing, reviewing, and posting job adverts across multiple platforms
  • Review and improve recruitment and attraction processes and procedures
  • Manages employment offers and ensures a seamless handover to People and Culture Manager for onboarding
  • Participates in industry specific recruitment fairs
  • Partners with post-secondary institutions, educational programs and professional associations to promote Marcon Career opportunities and co-op programs;
