  • What is the role?Roku is seeking a Senior QA Automation Architect to help evolve test automation capabilities from primarily AV-sync testing into broader audio quality coverage across Roku TVs, soundbars, and headphones. In this role, you will partner closely with the team lead to architect and advance the automation ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on AI-driven innovation through internal initiatives. You will design and implement test analysis systems that identify quality gaps, predict failure patterns, and optimize test effectiveness across products. This role requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is comfortable working through ambiguity while navigating evolving priorities. You will establish new methodologies for measuring and improving test quality beyond simple pass/fail metrics, focusing on regression prevention and production reliability.   • Design systems that collect, analyse, and act on testing data to continuously improve quality processes
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to implement test automation, failure analysis, and root cause identification
  • Establish new methodologies for measuring and improving test quality beyond simple pass/fail metrics, focusing on regression prevention and production reliability
  • Define and implement architectural patterns that make testing more effective, maintainable, and aligned with business impact
  • Drive systematic regression tracking and implement processes to prevent regression reoccurrence
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align quality initiatives with broader engineering goals
  • Mentor engineers on best practices in test architecture, automation design, and AI-assisted quality assurance
