JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for an excellent communicator, who is professional and enthusiastic with a positive attitude. Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Duties include entering relevant data into the radiology information system, booking and confirming appointments, ensuring correct medical history and terminology is entered with each appointment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in a medical office environment and those with training as a Medical Office Assistant or Unit Clerk.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is a must.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of organization policies, procedures, and standards of care, including the practice of safe work procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate (orally and in writing) and deal effectively with clients and their families, coworkers, physicians, other health care staff, and staff of external agencies
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with and/or guide others in the resolution of conflict issues
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in collaboration with others
