Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items consistently according to our recipes and standards
  • Complete daily prep including chopping, portioning, sauces, proteins and other ingredients
  • Assemble sandwiches, salads and other menu items during service
  • Keep your station clean, organized and properly stocked
  • Follow proper food handling, storage and food safety procedures
  • Help with receiving, rotating and organizing inventory
  • Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift as needed
  • Work closely with the rest of the team to keep service moving smoothly
  • Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
  • Look after the counter when needed - punch in orders and serve guests at the counter

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous kitchen or line cook experience is preferred
  • Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of basic food preparation and kitchen safety
  • Organized, dependable and able to manage your time well
  • Able to follow recipes and maintain consistency
  • Takes pride in keeping a clean and organized workspace
  • A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a small, collaborative team
  • Most importantly, someone who cares about making good food and doing things properly
