About Us:
We are a leading Home Automation company that specializes in delivering innovative solutions to make the client experience with their home more connected, efficient, easier to manage and ultimately entertaining through custom integrations tailored to their unique needs. Our goal is to provide top-tier service and build lasting relationships with our customers. We’re looking for a Home Integration and Install professional in Ontario who is not only technically skilled but also excels at communicating with customers and provides exceptional service interactions to deliver that memorable client experience. If you have a passion for home automation and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, we’d love to meet you!
Position Overview:

You’ll have the added benefit of collaborating with an office-based support team who can assist you remotely by phone, providing guidance when needed. The ideal candidate will not only have strong technical skills but will also be confident and personable when interacting with customers to ensure they have a positive experience. You’ll also be working as part of a close-knit team, where collaboration and support are key to delivering top-notch service.
In this role, you may be required to travel further distances for certain projects, including potential overnight trips for installations or service calls outside the immediate service area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installations: Install and configure audio/video and home automation systems, ensuring everything is working to meet the clients desired user experience.
  • Remote Collaboration: Partner with a technician in the office who can provide remote support and troubleshooting assistance during service calls to help resolve complex issues.
  • Customer Communication: Engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner, explaining technical information clearly and in a user friendly manner to address any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Documentation: Accurately document service calls, system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and follow-up actions in the company’s system.
  • Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose issues efficiently, using your technical expertise and ability to truly work the problem while making use of remote assistance as needed to ensure expedited resolutions.
  • Ongoing Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and check-ups to ensure systems are running optimally.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with your colleagues, sharing knowledge and expertise to continuously improve service quality and provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Overnight and Remote Travel: Occasionally, you will be required to travel outside of your usual service area for installations or service calls, which may include overnight trips.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience and interest in home automation, audio/video installation, or a similar technical field.
  • Strong understanding of smart home technologies (network, lighting, security, HVAC, entertainment, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical, with the ability to explain complex systems in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Comfortable interacting with customers, with a focus on delivering an exceptional service experience.
  • Ability to work independently while managing your time and priorities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • A team player who thrives in both a collaborative work environment yet focused when flying solo.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client homes within Ontario.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to travel for overnight trips or further away work as needed.
  • Certifications in home automation or related technical fields are a plus.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Flexible, remote work environment with travel across Ontario as needed.
  • Opportunities for growth and advancement in a rapidly expanding industry.
  • Comprehensive training and ongoing support from the team.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented culture where you’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills and contribute to the success of the team.
  • Potential for occasional overnight trips and travel to more distant locations.

How to Apply:
If you’re excited about delivering top-tier home automation service while working in a dynamic and supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you! Please submit your resume along with a brief cover letter highlighting your experience in both technical fields and customer service.
We look forward to hearing from you!
