Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Automotive Technician to join our team. We would consider a 3rd or 4th year apprentice as well. We pay by the hour and not flat rate. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for providing excellent customer service. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles, using both hand and power tools. If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using schematics and diagnostic equipment
- Conduct inspections and testing of vehicle systems to identify any potential problems
- Complete necessary repairs efficiently and accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver’s license

Note: Welding experience is a plus but not required.
