JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director of Recruitment and Admission, the Graduate Admissions Advisor/Recruiter for Programs in the School of Education on the Vaughan, Ontario campus is an essential partner in the development and implementation of Niagara University’s recruitment strategies for the programs in education including the Bachelor of Professional Studies, Master of Educational Leadership and Additional Qualification courses. This role is responsible for attracting high-quality applicants, managing the complete recruitment cycle, and providing exceptional guidance to prospective students throughout their application journey. The position requires building and nurturing strategic relationships with key stakeholders including academic departments, partner institutions, alumni and representing the University at recruiting events. Critical to success in this role is the ability to plan and execute engaging information sessions, webinars, and one-on-one meetings with prospective students, while maintaining comprehensive data tracking to inform recruitment strategies. The admissions recruiter will join regular team meetings and provide timely reports on key recruitment metrics.The ideal candidate will possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrate strong organizational abilities, and have a thorough understanding of the Ontario higher education landscape.
