We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to join our team at IMADA. As a Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and coordination of fit-out projects from inception to completion. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
· Proven 3 to 5 years and above experience as a Planning Engineer or similar role in the construction or fit-out industry.
· Proficiency in project planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
· Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members towards project goals.

1. Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project schedules using appropriate software tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of schedules with project objectives and milestones.
2. Resource Allocation: Allocate resources efficiently to ensure optimal utilization and productivity. Monitor resource usage and adjust schedules as necessary to meet project requirements.
3. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to project timelines. Proactively monitor project progress and address any deviations from the plan.
4. Progress Tracking and Reporting: Monitor project progress against the established schedule and report on key performance indicators such as project milestones, deliverables, and budget expenditures. Provide regular updates to project stakeholders and management.
5. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and other team members to facilitate effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the planning and scheduling function. Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects to enhance overall project delivery.
