The Role & What You Will Be Doing

Production Manager will manage the entire Sterile Parenteral Dept., including Dispensing and Compounding of vial and syringe product and autoclaves and Dehydrogenation tunnels.

• Prepare, review, approve, and distribute manufacturing instructions for APIs and intermediate solutions.
• Oversee sterile production processes, including filling of vials and syringes, and conduct final batch order reviews.
• Build and maintain a skilled workforce aligned with departmental needs, including ongoing training and development programs.
• Ensure strict adherence to cGMP, FDA, HPRA, DEKRA, and other regulatory requirements; support audits and inspections.
• Develop and manage the department’s annual budget and maintain appropriate inventory levels of critical consumables.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards and maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Technical Services to maintain equipment, support calibrations, and coordinate validation tasks.
• Maintain production areas to required standards and support continuous improvement in facility and equipment readiness.
• Review and approve batch records, deviations, CAPAs, SOPs, and other quality documentation in alignment with QA.
• Partner cross-functionally with QA, QC, Engineering, Supply Chain, and R&D to ensure smooth operations and successful product launches.

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

• Must possess knowledge of manufacturing processes within a pharmaceutical environment.
• Must possess previous experience of working to GMP regulations as well as gowning experience for a Grade A/B environment or equivalent.
• Experience in Sterile and Aseptic fill/finish would be advantageous
• Previous experience in similar supervisory role would be required. Min. of 3 years’ experience as Manager/Lead would be ideal.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Capability to set clear goals, communicate these clearly and ensure progress to completion
• Leadership skills and ability to develop or train team members.
