Description

Front of House Assistant Manager required for busy Casual Dining Restaurant (Luso Casual Dining) in the centre of Cavan. We are based in the restaurant to the rear of The Black Horse Inn and serve food in both the pub and our own restaurant. You will be responsible for the floor of the 42 seater restaurant as well as the 60 seat lounge and bar attached. Some bar work involved including occasional cocktail making (all training provided). You will work alongside 1 to 3 other waiting staff and involves all aspects of front of house - Waiting tables, cleaning, training junior staff, engaging with management and kitchen, assisting in kitchen, making guests’ experiences enjoyable.
This is a more senior role so we won’t be able to consider any applicants without a number of years full time work (not necessary that work experience is in restaurant or bar but person needs to be able to work on own initiative) or any school students. Normal schedule is 4.30 to 9.30 on Thursday and Friday and 3.30 to 9.30 on Saturday and Sunday but depends on business requirements.
There are limited transport options from Cavan after 9.30pm so it is unlikely to suit anyone relying on public transport.
