Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Lab Assistant to join our dynamic team in our genetic testing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory work and a passion for scientific research.

• Process leaf and seed samples for DNA extraction, operating various lab equipment including PCR and sequencing machines to obtain high-quality results
• Manage sample organization, meet testing deadlines, and maintain detailed records while ensuring sample integrity throughout the testing process
• Collaborate with team members, train contract staff, and participate in data quality analysis and process improvement initiatives
• Handle laboratory logistics including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and maintaining a clean work environment
• Update task tracking tools, participate in team meetings, and adhere to safety protocols while demonstrating strong attention to detail in all tasks
