About the job


Our client, an industry leading food manufacturer upon successful growth, is looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their team. This is a great opportunity to be a key stakeholder in a growing company that invests in its employees.

  • What You Will Do:Assist with the development and delivery of the CAPEX Master Plan.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality, facilities and safety standards.
  • Capital forecasting and timely entry and close out of projects.
  • Lead medium to large-scale capital and technical projects across the manufacturing operations.
  • Manage projects through all phases, including planning, design, budgeting, procurement, installation, commissioning, and start-up.
  • Develop engineering solutions that improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and equipment reliability.
  • Coordinate contractor management and project execution.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks, and key performance indicators while providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Apply structured project management methodologies and reporting practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure projects comply with applicable engineering standards, food safety requirements, regulatory requirements, and company specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Maintenance, Quality, Sanitation, and Supply Chain.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce operational costs.
  • Perform engineering analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations to resolve technical issues and improve equipment performance.
  • Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to support knowledge sharing across the organization.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of preventive maintenance and long-term asset management strategies.
  • Continuously develop technical expertise and contribute to engineering best practices.


  • Education and Experience:7+ years of experience as a Project Engineer in a high speed CPG manufacturing.
  • Experience with Process Improvement Methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen etc.)
  • BA, Engineering or related discipline is required.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to develop a positive safety culture within the team.
  • Hands on commissioning/ new equipment installation.
  • Experience in Food Processing environments ideal.
