Job Title: Office Assistant Job Description We are looking for a dedicated Office Assistant to support our unit administrators in fulfilling and coordinating approved accommodations. The ideal candidate will assist in creating a supportive environment for students by managing various administrative tasks related to accommodations, examinations, and student inquiries. Responsibilities Produce Letters of Accommodation to outline student accommodations. Secure note-takers by reviewing requests, communicating with faculty, training students on assistive technology, and ensuring secure transmission of notes. Coordinate exam arrangements for students registered with the Office of Disability Services (ODS) by entering request data, arranging exam schedules, and administering exams as per approved accommodations. Assist with the registration process, including logging forms, assigning coordinators, and responding to student inquiries. Proctor exams as needed. Provide students with accessible course materials by collaborating with publishers or vendors, or converting materials into appropriate formats. Train students on assistive technology approved as accommodations. Answer questions about services via phone, email, or in-person. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Experience in administration, data entry, or customer service. Attention to detail. Excellent communication skills: listening, oral, and written.
