This role is ideal for someone with strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and a hands-on approach to diagnostics and heavy vehicle servicing. You’ll be supporting the maintenance and readiness of trucks and specialist machinery—especially those involved in transporting oversize loads—so planning, precision and performance are key.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues across a fleet of trucks, trailers, utes, EWPs, forklifts, and mobile cranes
• Perform engine overhauls, scheduled servicing, and general maintenance
• Conduct hydraulic hose and cylinder repairs
• Maintain records including WOFs, COFs, and service logs
• Carry out pre-transport checks to ensure vehicles are road-ready for oversize load delivery
• Assist in on-site repairs when required
• Start early and be ready to plan ahead for the day’s work
