Job Description As the Merchandise Planner for Apparel, you’ll play a crucial role in driving category performance and reigniting our presence in fashion. Partnering with our buying and supply chain teams, you’ll analyse sales trends, forecast demand, and optimise stock strategies. Acting as the link between market insights and product availability, you’ll ensure our customers find the apparel they want – and love – in our collection. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you’ll bring your commercial insight and planning expertise to shape the success of our apparel range. With strong financial acumen, assortment building skills and a real commercial mindset, you'll work collaboratively to drive optimisation and manage the product lifecycle process, whilst being consistently on top of trends and performance. Key responsibilities include: Working with the Buyers on a range of assortment plans, controlling markdowns and category spend Setting budgets and reviewing forward plans Analysing product performance trends and making recommendations for improvement Improving stock-flow & product lifecycle management, maximising our Stock ROI Demand planning/forecasting – includes impacts of promotional activity Interpreting data into a clear narrative & actionable outcomes – storytelling Communicating data and strategy to key stakeholders Qualifications You understand retail and merchandise planning; you always have customers front of mind and can interpret data into stories, translate customer mission strategies into actionable decisions that deliver results.
