Demonstrated ability to value the voice and contribution of others while remaining open to corrective criticism. Completion of WHMIS and First Aid, or willingness to obtain upon hire.   Desired Qualifications and Experience • Professional development in Speech Language Pathology. • Experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting. • Experience administering and interpreting standardized assessments. • Experience in facilitation speech pathology related professional development sessions. • Experience providing direct support to non-verbal students. • Experience providing support to school staff in the form of contributions to program plans and classroom implementation of strategies.   We are part of the collaborative professional team with Student Services consisting of Speech Language Pathologists, School Psychologists, SchoolsPlus Staff, Student Services Consultants/Autism Support Teachers and Severe Learning Disabilities Teachers and Resources Teachers. Responsibilities include collaborative consultation with school based teams, informal and formal assessment, development of program plans to increase student success for those students with communication needs and provide treatment.
