WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Reporting to the Supervisor, the Material Handler is responsible for the movement of various materials and products. Your responsibilities will include: * Ensuring safe movement of products or merchandise. * Reviewing products or merchandise to ensure proper placement. * All other duties as assigned to support and improve the overall team operations. * Adjusting to new reporting relationships, work assignments, and work schedules to meet company needs and business requirements. * Consistent and reliable attendance at work is an essential function of this job. Physical Requirements: * This is a physically demanding role that requires constant standing, walking, bending, and stooping. * You must be able to lift and move materials, which may be heavy, repeatedly throughout the workday. * Requires good manual dexterity and physical stamina for tasks such as minor repairs and manual drying. * Ability to hear and understand verbal instructions and safety alarms in a warehouse environment. OTHER PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Vision: Requires adequate near vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception to safely perform job duties, identify pallet defects, operate tools, read labels, and recognize workplace hazards. * Sense of Sound: Ability to hear horns, alarms, machinery, and verbal instructions in a potentially noisy warehouse environment. * Sense of Touch: Ability to use hands and fingers effectively to handle tools, fasteners, materials, and equipment with precision and control. * Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Ability to consistently wear required PPE, including steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and gloves, throughout the workday. WORK ENVIRONMENT: * While performing the duties of this job, the employee will primarily work in a warehouse environment.
