We are seeking a Sales Assistant to support our sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an interest in the food and nutrition industry. The Sales Assistants will work cooperatively with operations, sales and accounting to fully service accounts to ensure customer satisfaction.
Excellent verbal communication, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and ERPs as well as basic computer skills is required. Ability to multi-task, handle changing priorities and work with internal and external customers at all levels of the organization. Starting salary will commensurate with experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or supply chain within food, ingredients, or wholesale distribution is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with B2B customers.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations (FDA, USDA, FSMA) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

· Responsible for processing orders, arranging for shipments while keeping customers and other departments within company informed on shipment status Printing and entering of orders on a daily basis
