POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Program Supervisor, carries out activity programs for children in the Child Care Centre. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Directs and participates with planned and routine activities. Plans and implements developmentally appropriate learning activities/programs based on the holistic development of all children. Maintains an orderly, tidy and fully equipped Centre by ensuring that materials are available and requests for replacements and repairs are made when necessary. Participates in staff and parent meetings, special events and works with outside agencies. Participates in orientation of new staff and students. Completes forms required for statistical data. Performs such other related duties as may be assigned.
