Key Responsibilities: - Provide specialized care for critically ill or premature newborns in the NICU, from admission to discharge. - Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests, and recommend appropriate treatment plans. - Monitor infants closely, identify any changes in their condition, and respond accordingly. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and coordinated care. - Educate parents on neonatal care, feeding techniques, and infant development. - Maintain accurate and confidential medical records of patients. - Stay up-to-date with advancements in neonatal care and apply new techniques and treatments when appropriate. - Participate in quality improvement initiatives and follow safety protocols. - Train and supervise junior medical staff and support the professional development of colleagues.
