JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing accurate 2D technical drawings and layouts in line with project specifications, design inputs, and engineering standards. This position requires precision, speed, and a solid understanding of construction and design methodologies.

EDUCATION:

• Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE:

• 2–5 years of relevant experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman, preferably in the fit-out, construction, architectural.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D drafting essential; 3D is a plus).
• Strong understanding of construction detailing, joinery, or MEP layouts.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of site conditions, materials, and coordination processes is an added advantage.

• Prepare accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings for architectural, interior fit-out, joinery, or MEP projects.
• Interpret conceptual sketches and technical input into detailed drafting deliverables.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback from design, engineering, or project management teams.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and associated documentation in accordance with company procedures.
• Coordinate with design, estimation, and project execution teams to ensure drawing accuracy and feasibility.
• Ensure compliance of all drawings with local regulations, industry standards, and project-specific guidelines.
• Prepare shop drawings, layout plans, and as-built drawings as required.
