JOB SUMMARY:
The Telecom Commissioning Supervisor is responsible for supervising the pre-commissioning, commissioning, testing, and handover of telecommunication systems in oil and gas facilities. This role ensures that all telecom systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and client requirements. The position requires close coordination with Engineering, Construction, Vendors and Client representatives to deliver fully functional telecom systems.
Qualifications:
Ø Supervise commissioning activities for the following telecommunication systems:
Ø Execute and ensure compliance with approved Commissioning Procedures and Risk Assessments.
Ø Ensure strict adherence to HSE procedures and site permit-to-work systems.
Ø Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and other disciplines during Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), integration, and commissioning phases.
Ø Participate in system walk-downs, functional testing, loop checks, energization, and troubleshooting.
Ø Maintain detailed records of daily activities, testing progress, and issue resolution.
Ø Manage and close punch list items in coordination with clients, vendors and construction teams.
Ø Support the final system handover and ensure all as-built documentation and test records are completed and submitted.
