Position Summary: KHA Accountants, PLLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Assurance Senior Associate to join our growing assurance team. This role is ideal for professionals ready to take the next step in their public accounting careers, someone who brings strong technical skills, sound judgment, and a passion for mentoring others.
As a Senior Associate, you will lead and execute audit engagements, review complex financial reporting issues, and play a key role in developing less experienced team members. You’ll work directly with clients across a wide range of industries, delivering insights that support sound decision-making and long-term success.

• Plan and perform audit, review, and compilation engagements with minimal supervision.
• Evaluate internal controls and business processes; provide actionable recommendations.
• Review workpapers and ensure audit procedures are appropriately documented.
• Manage timelines and deliverables to meet firm productivity and quality expectations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and firm leadership.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to interns and associates.
• Participate in the onboarding and recruitment of new talent.
• Attend professional development and networking events.
• Delegate work and manage resources effectively across engagements.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
• Adhere to laws, rules, and regulations.
• Adhere to data privacy regulations and best practices.
• Adhere to KHA’s policies and procedures, and core values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other equivalent experience.
• CPA license or active CPA candidate status required.
• 2-4 years of recent public accounting experience in assurance services.
