JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking to hire a full-time Internal Sales professional to join our Robert Price Cardiff Timber Branch.
The ideal candidate will be results driven and possess excellent communication skills to engage with potential clients effectively, preferably with experience in Sales or in a Builder’s / Timber Merchants.
Our specialist timber branch offers a wide range of products, including sawn and milled timber, treated timber, made to order timber and bespoke timber services.

EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED SKILLS

• The ability to develop new business accounts, build excellent customer relationships, maximise profitable opportunities and consistently deliver a first class customer service
• Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills
• Confident selling skills
• Good IT skills, (Excel, Outlook and Word especially), and excellent paperwork efficiency
• The ability to multitask, to prioritise tasks wisely and complete them in a timely manner
• The ability to grasp new systems quickly and follow company procedures and instructions accurately, thoroughly and methodically (training will be given in our products and systems)
• General enthusiasm, confidence, reliability and versatility

• Dealing with sales and general customer enquiries
• Being responsible for the pro-active development of specified customer accounts
• Giving prices and quotations
• Processing orders
• Arranging deliveries
• General sales office administration
• Liaison with external representatives
