IT Solution Architect
Hybrid – attached to our office in Solihull or Hook, with regular UK travel

Salary - £65k-£75k depending on experience.
Here at Serco, we’re committed to delivering world-class public services that make a difference. As an IT Solution Architect , you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping secure, scalable, and efficient IT solutions that support our Defence customers and align with strategic business needs.
You’ll work at the heart of our bid teams to define and deliver robust technical architectures aligned with customer, security, and operational requirements. You’ll take end-to-end ownership of IT solution design for bids and contracts, particularly within the Defence sector, and collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure architecture integrity and alignment with business goals.

A degree in an IT-related discipline
Strong understanding of applications architecture and Agile methodologies
Proven experience designing IT systems for Government bids and contracts
Familiarity with line of business applications such as Facilities Management, Asset Management and Case Management.
Knowledge of modern IT infrastructure, applications, and cloud technologies
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
A collaborative mindset and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Architectural qualifications (e.g., TOGAF, BCS or Zachman – desirable)
Experience working to MOD/Government IT standards (desirable)
Be willing to undergo security clearance (BPSS minimum)
