This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate or someone at the beginning of their career to join a successful and progressive engineering environment as a Junior Data Analyst.

You’ll be working with real operational and commercial data, helping the business understand what is happening, identify problems and develop smarter ways of working. This is not simply a role producing reports – as a Junior Data Analyst, you will see how your analysis directly impacts production, planning and customer delivery.

The Job

As a Junior Data Analyst, you will:

• Analyse customer schedules, orders and operational data to identify trends, issues and priorities.
• Track materials, work in progress and subcontract activity throughout the production process.
• Help map products through different production stages and highlight potential delays or bottlenecks.
• Develop useful reports, work-to lists and visual management tools to help operational teams make better decisions.
• Work closely with Operations, Planning and IT to improve processes and develop data-driven solutions.
• Use data to help improve efficiency, production performance and the on-time delivery of customer orders.

About You

We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst who:

• Has recently completed a degree in Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or another strongly analytical subject, ideally achieving a 2:1 or above.
• Genuinely enjoys working with numbers, analysing information and solving problems.
• Is confident using Excel, with Power BI knowledge being highly desirable.
• Can communicate findings clearly and enjoys working with people as well as data.
• Is naturally curious and likes asking why something is happening rather than simply reporting the numbers.
• Lives within approximately 25 miles of Market Bosworth and has their own transport.
