Mechanic Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a good mechanical knowledge working on cars & light commercials. As a Mechanic, you will be required to service, repair and carry out general work on motor vehicles .
Duties:
- Servicing tasks such as oil changes, air & fuel filters etc.
- Change tyres, brakes and carry out inspections thoroughly.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and carry out repairs.
- Repair or replace faulty parts and components.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems.
- Test machinery and equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair tasks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanic with good past experience #
- Strong mechanical knowledge NVQ’s ideal but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Driving Licence is essential.
- Attention to detail and precision in work.
