Requirements Responsibilities Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and related documents to determine machining and manufacturing requirements. Develop time standards for CNC and manual machining processes, setups, and run times. Identify tooling, fixtures, and materials required for production and estimate associated costs. Maintain estimating database and ensure accuracy of cost data for future proposals. Prepare written estimates and present findings to management for review and approval. Assist in make-or-buy decisions, ensuring optimal use of internal resources versus subcontracting. Continuously refine estimating methods based on feedback, production results, and industry benchmarks. Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 3+ years of experience in CNC machining, cost estimating, or related manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, materials (aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, composites), and aerospace/defense manufacturing standards. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, estimating software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
