The WRM Program also regulates and manages the diversion of water from surface and groundwaters to ensure protection of the resources and provides low-cost financial assistance for finance capital improvements to water infrastructure. The Program works to ensure adequate, reliable, sustainable supplies for current and future needs, uses, and the environment. Project Description: The intern will assist in various drinking water compliance projects with a focus on acute regulations including the Revised Total Coliform Rule, Lead and Copper, and Nitrate. The intern will also participate in the review of analytical data, sampling plans, chains of custody and water system inventories, as well as develop internal and external guidance.
