Role Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled Migration and BCDR Project Manager to oversee the development and execution of comprehensive migration and business continuity and disaster recovery plans for one of our esteemed clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining project scope, timelines, and budget, coordinating across departments, and managing all aspects of the project to ensure successful delivery. Responsibilities: Lead the development and execution of migration and BCDR plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Define the project scope, timeline, and budget, managing dependencies across teams and departments. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, coordinating closely with the PMO and stakeholder tower leads. Act as the first line of escalation for engagement issues, preparing and presenting updates to executive management as per the project work plan. Ensure adherence to data security and compliance requirements throughout the project. Manage multiple priorities and deadlines, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills. Oversee the detailed Project Work Plan, identifying and managing critical dependencies. Lead and motivate a team of technical specialists, managing resources and stakeholders effectively. Ensure transparent communication with stakeholders at all levels, managing client expectations throughout the project. Monitor project progress, tracking milestones, reporting on status, and addressing issues promptly. Possess and apply a strong understanding of relevant technologies and systems, staying abreast of emerging migration and BCDR trends and practices. Manage the testing and integration of new systems, overseeing data mapping, conversion, and validation processes, and troubleshooting technical problems. 5+ years of experience in managing IT projects from start to end including leading the planning and implementation of migration projects and Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery strategies. Proven experience in leading migration and BCDR projects, with a strong understanding of project management principles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships. Strong technical background, with up-to-date knowledge of migration and BCDR trends and best practices. Ability to lead and motivate technical teams, managing resources and priorities effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results within tight deadlines. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are preferred but not mandatory. Preference will be given to candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for Saudization in accordance with local labor laws.
