The Senior Vision Systems Engineer will lead all technical problem solving and support activities to achieve quick resolutions to performance challenges with the automated machine vision / machine learning systems. This resource will also assist development and support future projects associated with implementing machine vision and machine learning inspection systems in the CHEP Americas Region. This is a remote role with 50% travel. Candidates must be located near a major US airport. Key Responsibilities May Include: Be the Subject Matter Expert for automated machine vision and machine learning systems deployed within the CHEP Americas Region. Provide on-going vision systems maintenance and troubleshooting support to CHEP service centers that will ensure sustained automated inspection system performance. Troubleshoot and resolve automated inspection system performance issues. Lead inspection system quality performance capability improvement programs. Improve regional integration performance to achieve entitlement targets. Ongoing efficiencies are estimated at greater than $500K in regional operations performance. Lead projects to monitor and improve automated inspection system performance, consistency, and predictability. Support automated machine vision and machine learning system integration for new development projects.
