DÉCLARATION DE RESPONSABILITÉ : Le superviseur ou la superviseure de l’équipement destiné aux passagers doit superviser l’exécution sûre et efficace, dans les délais prescrits, des travaux touchant les bogies, et ce, pour les besoins des clients des services en lien avec les locomotives, l’expédition par rail et le transport de passagers. De même, le ou la titulaire de ce poste doit veiller à ce qu’on respecte les calendriers de production et à ce qu’on effectue les travaux conformément aux spécifications de qualité et aux normes de sécurité. PRINCIPALES TÂCHES ET RESPONSABILITÉS : • Prévoir à l’horaire et superviser les inspections et les tâches d’entretien quotidiennes, de routine et annuelles qui concernent les voitures de voyageurs, les wagons de marchandises, les locomotives, l’équipement de régulation de l’occupation de la voie (wagons réfrigérants intermodaux), les véhicules du parc, le bogie de 5 tonnes et les dispositifs antichutes. • Planifier et coordonner les calendriers d’entretien du Northlander et des voitures et wagons, y compris les formations et les réunions concernant les wagons du Northlander. • Superviser l’entretien du bâtiment et veiller au bon fonctionnement des infrastructures de l’atelier, notamment le séparateur d’huile, le dispositif de maintien des conteneurs de carburant et les systèmes d’élimination de l’huile usée. • Superviser les réparations effectuées sur les voies destinées à cette fin et sur les wagons, en plus de coordonner des projets spéciaux, y compris en ce qui touche l’apport de modifications aux voitures-restaurants, les wagons de transport ferroviaire et les équipements déraillés. • Prendre des mesures lorsqu’il y a des déraillements et des urgences ferroviaires, lorsqu’il faut remplacer des roues et lorsqu’il faut faire des réparations sur les routes, et, à ces égards, superviser les équipages de Hoesch et les entrepreneurs tiers, là où il y a lieu. • Envoyer des membres du personnel hors site afin qu’ils réalisent des inspections et des réparations, en plus de superviser les tâches prévues à l’horaire à des endroits éloignés (Hearst, Rouyn, Englehart, Kidd Creek). • Commander des pièces pour les voitures, les wagons de marchandises, les locomotives et les matériaux de projets spécialisés, et, à ces égards, voir au stockage approprié des produits explosifs ou dangereux. • Veiller à ce que tous les travaux effectués soient conformes aux normes et politiques de l’Association of American Railroads (AAR), de Transports Canada et de la Commission. • Exercer une surveillance pour voir à ce que l’équipement de protection individuelle (EPI) nécessaire soit offert et à ce que l’on respecte les règles en lien avec l’EPI, mettre ces règles en application, faire des observations relatives à la santé et à la sécurité, et produire des rapports dans le système Intelex. • Tenir à jour les documents de formation requis, s’assurer que la formation est à jour et s’employer à prévoir les besoins futurs en matière de formation. • Attribuer les tâches de manière équilibrée parmi les divers quarts de travail et coordonner les opérations quotidiennes, et, à ces égards, veiller à ce que les effectifs soient suffisants pour minimiser les temps d’arrêt des équipements. • Procéder à la planification requise quant aux demandes de congés des membres du personnel et, à cet égard, coordonner le tout avec le ou la chef, Soutien aux opérations. • Établir à l’horaire la formation des apprentis et apprenties de même que la rotation des quarts de travail de ces personnes, et ce, en collaboration avec le comité chargé de l’apprentissage. • Superviser les membres du personnel, promouvoir l’établissement d’un environnement de travail sûr et veiller à la bonne communication au sein de l’équipe.
