Job Title :SAS-Mainframe developer
Location : Frankfurt ,Germany
Type: Contract

Functions:

  • Responsible for all design/development and component testing tasks related to the integrated Batch-Re-Rating (SAS on z/OS Mainframe)
  • Provide Low-level Design (implementation decisions and documentation)
  • Implement business logic using SAS on z/OS environment
  • Component testing using TDD approach
  • Complete job flow responsibility (integration testing, deployment support)

Critical Skills :

  • Experience as senior SAS Application Developer on z/OS mainframe
  • Experience as senior with z/OS mainframe technology (TSO/ISPF, JCL)
  • Experience with REST API calls using SAS
  • Deep knowledge on SAS technology (Mainframe and midrange components)

Appreciated:

  • Good technical understanding/Background due to a big variance of involved technologies (Mainframe, Cobol, SAS, Java, Client, Unix, Windows, Hadoop) to be able to think in end-to-end processes
  • Experience with IBM MQ and usage in batch environment
  • Experience with z/OS UNIX system services
  • Experience with connection to Hadoop environment
  • functional background: basic understanding of Credit Risk Management / risk rating
  • Strong team player who can lead (his topics and integrate (in the overall Initiative - shared resources)
  • Feels responsible for his projects
  • Good communication skills to lead teams and manage different vendors
