JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales & Event Coordinator to join our dynamic wedding and events team. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrable experience in organising tours, discussing packages with clients, preparing proposals, finalising the sale agreement, pre-planning their event and overall represent a luxury brand.
To succeed in the role you’ll need good office, events administration and communication skills; great attention to detail with words and numbers; good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a time sensitive environment.
Identify the client’s requirements, providing them with clear information and confidence.
This involves responding to enquiries coming into the venue relating to weddings and events.
Organising and providing tours for clients.
Building relationships with customers to obtain repeat business and maximise sale opportunities.
Creating quotations and proposals in a timely professional manner.
To contract and invoice your confirmed booking. Ensuring the computer system is updated.
To complete all pre-planning of the event and ensure it is signed off by the client
Communicating with customers over the phone, email and face to face, ensuring you fully understand all their needs.
Organising and communicating the pre-plan documents for your operations team to execute the event.
There will be occasional requirements to attend our high profile events to welcome the client and their attendees.
Maximise the conversion of sales by being an expert in your product, selling ads-ons and ensuring your are hitting your sales targets.
To develop good relationships with internal and external suppliers that provide additional services to your client event.
The role involves developing existing accounts, to take repeat bookings and strengthen relationships with the venue.
Working with the Sales Manager to contribute to research, creating in house events and attending networking events.
Provide support and reporting to the Sales Manager.
