ABOUT VIPA

VIPA is a European multinational company, based in Lausanne, Switzerland, with a leading position in the global recycling and recovered material trading sectors. As our business in Latin America is growing, we wish to employ a specialized commercial professional. The position can be based anywhere in Central or South America.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

  • Experience in a similar commercial or logistics role in commodity trading sector (ideally in Recovered Paper, Plastics or Metals)
  • Familiarity with the Paper and Recycling industry (especially paper mills and recycling plants)
  • Native speaker of Spanish or Portuguese. Proficiency in English is a must. Additional languages will be an advantage
  • Strong commercial acumen / negotiation skills
  • Availability for business travel
  • Good numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Adaptive to change, and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong decision-making ability
