JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the warehouse operations at our Leeds Service Centre. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics, ensuring efficient processes that contribute to the overall success of our business. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, as you will be supervising a team and implementing continuous improvement strategies to optimise warehouse performance.

SKILLS

• Strong understanding of profit loss management and financial oversight within a warehouse environment.
• Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management.
• Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills to assess business processes and implement improvements.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving protocols within a warehouse setting.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with other internal departments.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within the industry.
• Proficient in use of Microsoft suite.

• Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including stock management, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise warehouse processes, streamline workflows, and increase efficiency.
• Oversee profit and loss management within the warehouse, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Lead and manage a team of warehouse personnel, provide training and coaching to improve performance and ensure job satisfaction.
• Monitor stock levels to ensure adequate stock levels and eliminate waste.
• Collaborate with all departments, including sales and operations to ensure timely delivery of orders and customer satisfaction.
• Implement and maintain regulatory compliance related to warehouse operations.
• Responsible for the recruitment and induction of team members.
• Liaise with the warehouse team leader to create shift patterns/scheduling/assignments.
• Plan and organise the maintenance of vehicles and machinery as required.
• Ensure vehicles and drivers operate within regulations.
• Collaborate with Central Services teams.
