What you will do
The PGIM Fixed Income Student Placement Programme is a 9 month placement split between 2 teams. You will work in a collegial and supportive environment that promotes and rewards individual contributions, while placing equal importance on the results of the larger team. You will be encouraged to share your insights, skills, and diverse perspective with a talented team that works toward common goals. We place high priority on maintaining an environment that develops, motivates, rewards, and retains employees. While on placement you will have the opportunity to rotate between two different areas providing you with a comprehensive understanding of fixed income investment management. As part of a top global investment manager, you will have the opportunity to gain a fundamental understanding of investment and asset management. Based in Letterkenny you will work with colleagues across the globe who will help you hone the skills required for your future successful career in finance. What you can expect

• Global Portfolio Administration - Responsible for daily cash and position reconciliation of fixed income investment portfolios. The team provides timely data to traders and facilitates key investment decisions. You will work in a time sensitive environment with accuracy and attention to detail being paramount to success.
• Bank Loan Settlements & Servicing - Responsible for providing operational support to the PGIM Fixed Income bank loan assets. This includes settlement of loans, daily cash and position reconciliations, loan servicing, and data maintenance.

What you will bring

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or related course in second to last year of studies or finishing your degree in 2025.
• Successful candidates will have an inquisitive nature and a desire to deliver quality work.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Enjoys a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Enjoy a team-focused environment and culture of recognising the efforts of individuals.
• Able to multi-task and absorb information across a broad spectrum of products.
