Position Summary Directs the overall operations of the Adult Detoxification program and actively coordinates the day-to-day operations. This includes program oversight, supervision of the program staff, development of policy and procedure, assuring adherence to licensing and contract requirements, and budget oversight, including Medicaid enrollment and billing. Ensuring the program provides the highest quality services to clients in accordance with VOA mission and policy. Essential Duties Evaluate and implement program policies, procedures, and practices to ensure that they are client centered, meet client needs, are effectively administered, trauma informed, and are in line with program and agency mission. Guide the program through operational changes that may occur due to licensing or payor requirements or changes in known best practices. Utilize appropriate licensing, agency, and contract requirements to guide daily program operations and program development. Oversee and implement policy and procedure focused on rapid Medicaid enrollment and accurate Medicaid billing. Maintain compliance with funders and/or contracts throughout the year. Coordinate annual licensing and audit process and monthly progress reports to funders. Assist in preparing program budgets, participate in monthly budget meetings, and manage program spending within approved budget limits. Act as hiring, onboarding, and training manager for all members of the management team. Provide training and ongoing supervision of direct reports including monitoring task completion, timely completion of documentation, addressing performance issues, and annual evaluations. Provide any training and guidance as needed to achieve the expectations of each position to provide a consistent delivery of services. Provide leadership and oversight of all case management functions to ensure services are delivered with consistency, clinical integrity, and alignment with best practices. Conduct regular staff meetings and trainings to discuss best practices, address concerns, promote teamwork, and encourage the emotional health and well-being of staff members. Coordinate and collaborate effectively with agency and community partners to provide a continuity of care for clients, build positive working collaborations, assist in meeting client needs, and connect them with needed resources. Provide the necessary training and support to ensure emergency and crisis situations are handled in the most effective and compassionate way. Provide on-call support to the on-call manager and provide crisis management support to staff as needed. Resolve disputes, complaints, and grievances between staff and/or clients in a timely manner. Escalate major concerns and incidents that have threatened the safety of clients, staff, or the facility to the Division Director. Staff incidents with Division Director and create and follow through with a plan of action to address the situation. Performing work on site is required to provide direct supervision to staff and to be accessible to clients. Attend work as scheduled. Secondary Duties Maintain licensure (if applicable).
