THE CANDIDATE

You are a skilled and experienced professional responsible for managing an organization’s financial operations. You are adept at financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting. You oversee accounting processes, prepare financial statements, and monitor the organization’s financial health. You collaborate with other departments to implement effective internal controls, mitigate financial risks, and contribute to strategic decision-making. You possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards. In addition to your technical expertise, you successfully demonstrate leadership skills and effective communication abilities. You interact with executives, auditors, and other stakeholders, providing financial insights and recommendations to support business objectives. Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a commitment to ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations are key traits of your work.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor degree in the areas of Finance & Accounting or equivalent certification
• At least 2-3 years of accounting relevant work experience
• Self-motivated, ‘can do’ attitude and proactive to identify and resolve problems, organized and willing to learn on the job
• Eager to assume responsibilities and learn new tasks
• Ability to multi-tasking on different projects
• Knowledge of Exact software is plus

As a Financial Controller at Caely, you play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the financial aspects of the business. You are responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company’s objectives. You monitor and analyse financial performance related to renewable transactions. You are also responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on financial metrics relevant to the renewable sector, contributing to informed decision-making within the organization.

• Compile, enter and post monthly journal entries including but not limited to AP, GL and payroll entries
• Process bank and payment transactions
• Support external audits (including tax authority)
• Identify possibilities for improvement within the financial administrative organization
• Support the operation of the office and all kind of ad hoc activities
