Work within the Group Tax team to deliver accurate tax accounting and tax compliance outputs for the NAB Group. As a Senior Associate, you will assist the Associate Director and Head of Tax to identify, analyse and resolve issues relating to tax effect accounting and statutory reporting obligations.

You will facilitate and prepare reporting and documentation required for tax transfer pricing and other international tax related reporting obligations.

Responsibilities

IN THIS SENIOR ASSOCIATE ROLE, YOU WILL

  • Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of tax return calculations as well as tax effect accounting activities including month end close, reconciliations, half year and year end statutory reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax transfer pricing documentation required for NAB’s related party transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of international tax reporting obligations applicable for the NAB Group including Country by Country Reporting, International Dealer Schedule, Local File.
  • Ensure controls are effective and operated in line with policy requirements.
  • Continual assessment of processes, outputs, and controls to progress the function toward best practice operational excellence.
  • Preparation of responses to tax audits queries and information requests from revenue authorities.
