Simply Green are seeking a skilled Garden/Grounds Maintenance Team Leader with an eye for detail carrying out grounds and garden maintenance for offices and high-end properties. This needs to be to the highest standard and ensuring the team are also working to this standard.
The applicant must be able manage their daily schedule, the team members and maintain a high standard throughout all daily operations.
The job role is mowing using ride on and pedestrian mowers, strimming, hedge cutting and various other roles alongside a good working knowledge of plants, pests and diseases.
In the winter part of our business is to carry out salt gritting (outside of the working hours) delivering a service to local schools and business parks in the Wokingham area. This is a great overtime opportunity.
Full training is given on the equipment but is desirable if you already have knowledge of salt spreader and snow ploughing.
A full UK driving license is essential for this role due to the daily driving of company vehicles and the remote location of the base in Wokingham.
For insurance purposes you must be 21 and over for this role.

SKILLS

• Proficiency in grounds and landscape maintenance
• Perform ad hoc duties to support the team efforts.
• Ability to work within garden areas effectively
• Competence in using hand tools for various tasks
• Knowledge of operating power tools for garden & ground maintenance
• Skill in irrigating outdoor areas appropriately
• Capability to maintain outdoor spaces efficiently

  Salary will be based on experience - Pay: £29,000.00 - £32,000.00 per year.
