Custom Culinary, a subsidiary of Griffith Foods, is hiring a Packaging Operator to be responsible for operating and monitoring packaging equipment to ensure products are packed, labeled, and palletized accurately and on time. This role supports production schedules while maintaining food safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The operator also helps keep the work area safe, clean, and efficient. As a Packer your responsibilities will include: Read and interpret production schedules to pack finished goods accurately, ensuring correct cartons and labels are used. Erect cartons, apply labels, and place the correct number of pouches or cups into each carton. Set up, operate, and maintain taper and code dater equipment. Stack cartons on pallets in the correct tier configuration and layer count. Record yield and production data accurately. Complete all required training for the role, demonstrate understanding, and apply training on the job. Ensure all products meet Food Safety, Quality, Legal, and Authenticity standards for both source and destination locations. Support BRC requirements by coordinating, reviewing, and implementing functional area protocols. Participate in audits, provide training as needed, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and legal requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Demonstrates the ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions accurately. Pays close attention to detail to ensure accuracy in labeling, packing, and documentation.
