You will be responsible for following established software development methodology and practices defined for their business, for support of pre-silicon design and requirements as well as software validation activities. This includes impacting hardware architecture requirements from a software usage, compatibility, performance, and reuse potential perspectives. You will also be responsible for creation and maintenance of customer collateral for software products and deliverables. You will be working closely with TI teams (silicon, hardware, software teams) and customers as part of the normal software life-cycle. The responsibilities may also include quality assurance and configuration/release management. The engineer must keep management informed regarding technical issues and problems and to the extent possible proposing solutions to correct the problems. The Software Systems Engineer adds application system requirements definition, system specification, SoC (system on a chip) requirements definition.
