ESSENTIAL AND DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ideally you will be educated to a good high school standard
• Manufacturing or process experience
• Previous experience within a production environment would be desirable but full training will be given, experience within a manufacturing background would be highly preferred however not essential.

ROLE SUMMARY:

Tritech Group are manufacturing experts and suppliers of precision products to global Aerospace & Defence industry giants and to support our rapid growth we are recruiting for a range of positions across our UK facilities.
The role of the Finishing Operative is to remove moulds from castings and remove feeds using various methods and equipment in accordance with the operating procedure ensuring conformity of parts throughout the process.
The employee will willingly undertake, upon request, any other task they are able to perform. Elements of the role may vary as new technology, procedures and equipment are introduced.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identifying and removing imperfections from castings
• Using calibrated measuring equipment
• Using bandsaws, water blasters and sand blasters as part of the Finishing process.
• General and visual inspection
• Reading and understanding specifications and standards
• General and cosmetic tidy up of castings using air powered and electric tools.
• General duties within the Finishing Department.
