Description Summary: The litigation legal assistant supports attorneys in managing high-volume commercial litigation and insurance defense cases, drafting documents, and ensuring smooth litigation processes. The role centers on managing case workflows, preparing litigation documents, coordinating with clients, carriers, and courts, and ensuring compliance with procedural rules. Court filings: handle state and federal filings and ensure compliance with local rules. Scheduling: managing litigation calendars, scheduling appointments, meetings, and court appearances in compliance with deadlines Client communication: serve as a liaison with clients, experts, and court personnel to coordinate schedules and gather information as needed. Other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of legal terminology, court procedures, and litigation processes. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
