Senior Legal Cashier - Nottingham City Centre - £26-30K per annum
We are excited to be recruiting for a professional Senior Legal Cashier to join a top tier legal firm based in Nottingham provide financial support.
This is a Fixed Term 12-month contract-based opportunity.
This legal firm are well known within the market and pride themselves on providing a platform for you to learn, grow and succeed within their practice. As a result, their staff turnover is very low and have had glowing reviews across their social media platforms. They truly offer a fantastic working environment, embedded with many benefits other than a very competitive salary.
You will be working in an established team of Legal Cashiers, with the view to offer sound financial support company wide. Reporting directly into a qualified Head Cashier; you will be given expert guidance and support throughout your day to day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing bank reconciliations, cash receipts and bank transfers
  • Payments processing
  • Dealing with banking
  • Recoupments and disbursements payments
  • Managing queries
  • Petty cash posting
  • Allocating payments and funds
  • General cashier administration.

Ideal Person:

  • Immediately available or could start a new role with little notice
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel ideally including pivot tables, vlookups etc
  • Great attention to details and organisational skills to meet deadlines
  • Professional character who is happy to work in a team of like-minded professionals
  • Studying towards or completed AAT (or equivalent), who be ideal but not essential.
