Description
The ID Logistics Logistic Team Leader manages their team’s activity and organizes their work to achieve the defined objectives. They are a line manager and are responsible for the quality of the work carried out in compliance with internal processes and the rules of health and safety for goods and people, as well as observing customer specifications. Leading team. * Management Responsibilities Level – Team Leader (Management Model for more Details) * Plans, manages, and controls teamwork, defines clear rules with clear objectives and expectations. * Communicates on the road map and the final goals, knows their team members and their key motivations in order to inspire them by showing them the usefulness of their work and by making it rewarding for them. * Sets up with the team a periodical routine (brief type) of communication / monitoring / measurement of the activity and objectives of their area. * Encourages and supports the team by making any feedback random and formal (recognition, improvement, reframing). Ensures that all employees are at the expected level, provides support and/or training as required. * Promotes and supports process improvement, internal innovation programs and encourages collaborators to participate. * General Activities * Scales the workforce and equipment according to volume forecasts to plan the operation to meet the performance requirements. Prioritizes operations according to the constraints observed in the field and provides supervision. * Maintains regular communication with the customer and coordinates the execution of any specific requirements. * Knows and applies the health and safety rules and procedures of ID Logistics and in force locally, in their area of responsibility. * Analyzes equipment checklists and ensures that corrective actions are taken according to defined procedures.
