Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and maintain KYC policies, procedures, and governance documents in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform KYC Compliance Testing and Compliance Reviews to identify control gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for high-risk customers.
  • Ensure compliance with AML/CFT regulations, internal policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Coordinate with business partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders on KYC-related matters.
  • Prepare compliance reports, audit documentation, and management presentations.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and evidence.
  • Monitor compliance risks and recommend process improvements to strengthen controls.
  • Maintain accurate KYC records, audit trails, and regulatory documentation.
  • Support the enhancement of KYC frameworks, operational controls, and compliance initiatives.
  • Stay updated with applicable UAE regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 4–5+ years of experience in KYC/AML Compliance within Banking, Financial Services, Consulting, FinTech, or related industries.
  • Hands-on experience in KYC Policy Drafting & Review.
  • Experience conducting KYC Compliance Testing, Compliance Reviews, and Regulatory Assessments.
  • Strong knowledge of KYC, AML/CFT, CDD, EDD, sanctions screening, PEP screening, UBO verification, and risk assessment.
  • Familiarity with UAE regulatory frameworks such as CBUAE, DFSA, FSRA, FATF, and other applicable compliance standards.
  • Experience using AML/KYC tools such as goAML, World-Check, Dow Jones, LexisNexis, NICE Actimize, Oracle FCCM, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, Compliance, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • ACAMS, ICA, or equivalent AML/KYC certification is highly preferred.
  • Previous Consulting or Big4 experience is an advantage.
  • Bilingual (Arabic & English) candidates are preferred.
  • Must be available to work full-time onsite in Abu Dhabi.
