The Material Program Manager (MPM) role, within RTX, requires strong leadership skills with demonstrated project management experience. The MPM is accountable for overall supplier management, performance and success. As the interface between Supply Chain, the Program Office/Integrated Product Team (IPT), supplier, and other functions working on both development and production contracts; this role is responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies and ensuring organizational and program objectives are achieved. Key responsibilities include supplier material management, material forecasting, ensuring cost and schedule requirements are met, creating metrics to monitor GSCM health, supplier assessments, and future proposal activities. What You Will Do Drive processes to successful completion in support of a very aggressive schedule of deliveries Oversee GSC proposal execution performance and reporting Provide MRP support and production alignment in support of Operations execution Use critical thinking skills to propose sound and innovative business solutions to increase operational efficiencies to ensure business area and program success.
