Job Summary In this essential role, the Bindery Machine Operator will successfully coordinate and prioritize the production process with substantial focus on producing a finished printed product of high quality, rapidly and efficiently. Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and carrier standards. · Verify and maintain shipping records, including invoices, packing slips, and tracking numbers. · Schedule pickups and deliveries with FedEx, UPS, and other courier services. · Knowledge using Outlook email in a professional setting. · Ensure proper labeling and documentation for domestic and international shipments. · Maintain inventory of shipping supplies (boxes, labels, tape, etc.). · Operate shipping software and systems to generate labels and track shipments. · Inspect outgoing packages for accuracy, damage, and compliance with shipping regulations. · Communicate with internal departments (e.g., warehouse, project manager) regarding shipping status and issues. · Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies or delays with carriers. · Completes quality assurance checks consistently throughout production to ensures superior quality of product · Keeps a clean and organized work area at all times · Cross-trains in other areas and continues learning new and improved processes to increase knowledge and understanding of print industry · Operates in compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) requirements Requirements Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory management.
